Lengths that layer without guessing
Layering fails in one of two ways: the chains lie on top of each other, or they twist into a rope by noon. Both come from lengths that are too close. On this shelf the chains in a set are two inches apart, from 15 to 19 inches, and each has its own clasp and extender, so you can shift one layer without touching the others.
The lariats work differently. A Y-shaped chain puts a 3-inch drop down the center, and the short chain above it keeps the drop from swinging. Wear them with an open neckline, where the drop has room. The CZ stacks sit higher, with a stone hanging just under a 15-inch wave choker.
